Looks like Network Rail Track Recording Unit (DMU) 950001. The headcode, will like usual be 2Q08 (that's the RTT reporting code you posted)

A lot of the freight workings if not all on RTT have different headcodes shown for some reason not sure why they do it. i suppose if one is of a sensitive nature no one will know. i am sure some one in the know will correct me.

To clarify: the first digit of the scrambled code is the same as that of the actual headcode, in this case 2, and the other three characters are completely random (to the point that this service will have a different scrambled code every time it runs).

It was a RHTT, just seen go through Manchester Piccadilly
2Q08 isn't a RHTT - it's the track recording unit, as the first reply correctly suggests. 3S08 (which was a RHTT) was seven minutes behind it at Picc.

Real time systems get confused like that when a train passes through the same places multiple times.

Misleading delays/early-running figures like that can also occur if the train goes on diversion and ends up at the next (or a previous) timing point far too early or late!

Not Real Time getting confused, it's the TRUST system itself (which RTT is fed from), but it is due to passing specific locations multiple times.
