For those of you with DTV's , DVRs & Freeview boxes, you'll need to retune them NOW.

The Guildford transmitter has been done (this morning at 1145), so you can expect that the rest have, you'll need to do it otherwise you'll lose ITV 3 & 4, Channel 5 + a multitude of other channels too.

I would rather loose the channels they show crap all day and all night!

Anyway I will do mine later on but I think we might get one good thing out of this re-tuning HD on some channels and thats about it!.

I hate all this forced digital TV crap! and I would be none to happy to find out that after this upgrade I would loose channels or have the possibility of my freeview box not working at all!

Freeview - what's that? Here in Ilkley we have been told that receiving that is unlikely - ever. Along with Channel 5, and digital radio. Even Channels 1 - 4 are subject to interference when the wind blows. No great loss, programme wise. But we are only 18 miles from Leeds, hardly the back of beyond.

I'm glad the landlord finally turned our aerial around - We were about to lose ITV4 (*watches for the cycling*)

BTW Blame Ofcom for the current tinkering, they have evicted the BBC from one of their multiplex's so that we can have HD (after purchase of a new box which currently isn't in production yet because the DVB-T2 standard that we are using has only just been published)

I retuned mine on the day lol. I could never loose ITV2+1 as I could never catch Ricki Lake or Sally otherwise!

But we do get extras with this whole digital uk thing, for one phone signals will double and in some places triple so losing signal will be a thing of the past.
