Harrogate Line - adhesion problems

As a commuter on the line, I'm concerned to see the amount of delays stacking up over the past few days. This time of year will always cause adhesion issues, but coupled with the single lines past Knaresborough, the timetable has fallen apart twice already this week, with trains skipping the stops between Leeds and Harrogate to make up time. The line is treated twice per day already by the Railhead Treatment Train. At what point do Northern and Network Rail implement an emergency timetable.

One with more time (which I know would cause issues past Knaresborough), or splitting the line in half.

More time becomes an issue with the turnaround time at Leeds, the slots into/out of York and the single line sections. I would say operating in two sections would be the most reliable way to improve things but would be horrifically unpopular.

I think a reduced timetable would work, and maybe skipping Horsforth if an LNER is due in the same half hour? Either that or split the route in two, what ever is done won't be popular but you can't exactly stop the leaves from falling, maybe Northern ought to suggest to the local councils that all trees within a mile of it's line are cut down be they public or private lol.
