Anyone know what the extra equipment is for on the track between Harringay and Finsbury park.

Some sort of fence with flashing beacons between the goods and slow line.

That sounds like ATWS - Automatic Track Warning System.

If it's what I think it is, doesn't it have flashing yellow lights and a siren to warn on incoming trains?

Saw them in action when I was babysitting Hitchin one Saturday when no trains were calling there.
