I didn't know where to ask this, so I hope this is the correct place?

I have family visiting on Sunday 21st August (a day after the strike action on GA) but have chosen to go Central Line via Epping as they have Oyster Cards (I told them to get there much earlier than planned just incase of anything being displaced etc)

Its been a while since I have travelled but I suggested getting off at Mile End and taking the H&C line as you can just cross the platform, but the journey planner keeps wanting the change at Liverpool Street to get on the Circle Line

Does the H&C line still serve Mile End on a Sunday?

Try looking at journeys from Plaistow to Kings Cross. The Hammersmith & City line is shown as running.

The Hammersmith & City line is slower than the Central line from Mile End to Liverpool Street, particularly if you have to wait.

As you say it is just a cross platform interchange at Mile End.
