Reported on WNXX today that 31106 has been transported by road from East Lancs Railway to Nemesis Rail at Burton, the loco has spent the last 2 years at the ELR since its purchase by H&H

A fairly busy time coming up for 'Thunderer', as well as 'The Holly and the Hoover' on 14th January Branch Line Society have announced three further tours, 'The Wolf Hall Thunderer' on 11th February, 'The Technical Cobra *members only* on 12th February both with 50008 & 37403 and 'The Second Bite' on 18th March with 50008 & a n other 37

50008 worked 1425 5Z38 Knottingley TMD to Chaddesden with the SRPS Mk1 charter stock and 37403 DIT on the rear, a positioning move for this weekends 'Wolf Hall Thunderer' and 'Technical Cobra' Branch Line Society tours

The 37 did do some work, as there were two reversing moves from Knottingley to Derby, which took in the Knottingley triangle (reverse) to get to Milford (reverse) them Pontefract before The Old Road and Toton, and after a very brief stop to let crew off, into Chaddersden.

Difficult to say, as @Pkh72 posted some months back the loco was waiting on generator repairs, H&H no longer seem to have a social media presence after a small case of online fisticuffs so I guess it's just wait and see, the only pictures show 106 outside the shed at Burton

Thank you for that - a group of four of us from the forum were on the train, the others being more determined than I was since they started and finished at Huddersfield whereas I got on/off at Wilmslow, it was a good day out.
