Hanover Rail mileage

Hey guys,

I've just come back from a week in Hanover and wondered if anyone knows somewhere where I can get mileage (kilometres?) for the S-Bahn and the Stradtbahn. Any help would be appreciated.

I still keep them in my old al-DB timetable, though some routes are not in it-opened later (like to airport).
check if the PDF-printable German tables still show them: kursbuch.bahn.de
And of course on this continent noone ever will use miles, its always the world standard-KMs.

This site links to a track plan for the Stadtbahn and total length but not point-to-point distances which I suspect you are after, sorry.

Try the map-measuring site: www.geodistance.com. You have to do the work yourself but it's remarkably accurate if you zoom in to really large scale. Tunnels usually appear as dotted lines (haven't checked Hannover). As far as German mainline mileage is concerned, you used to be able to download a programme for calculating track access charges for any DBAG route from their website (Trassenpreissoftware or tpp). In calculating the price, it also gives you the distance. I'm still using the one I downloaded in 2006, so don't know if it's still there, I'm afraid.
