Hannon Coaches

I have travelled with Hannon Coaches a few times between Belfast and Glasgow via the Stena Line ferry at Cairnryan and at times have been the only passenger on the coach.

I understand that their services is currently suspended because of the COVID-19 outbreak, but I am wondering if they will resume service as surely running a coach with one passenger on isn't a viable business as using the ferry must be quiet expensive for a coach?

Will be a shame to lose them because they have always been a good service.

Was going to try this service , seen good loads on it and at peak times they put a full sized coach on.

Myself and a few other forum members were actually meant to try this service out a few weeks ago. Unfortunately that plan (like many others) was scuppered due to Covid-19 arriving.
Once this is all over however I will hopefully get to give them a go, from reports I have read they do seem like a decent operation.

I'd imagine there is some level of partnership between Hannon and Stena Line, as Stena advertise the service (along with Citylink's) on their website as 'Coach & Sail'. It may therefore not be a case of Hannon paying full price for the coach on every crossing - maybe a set fee per passenger or some other arrangement?
