[LSWR Cavalier]

The lighthouse ship "Fehmarnbelt" is seaworthy and can be visited in Luebeck, check the times first.

I think there is enough to see in Luebeck actually, Hamburg can be a bit overwhelming.

In actual fact, it’s a retired lightship.

Interesting, I always thought it was a fire-fighting ship. Thanks.

It was built at Dartmouth in 1952 and served as Light Vessel 13 off the Humber until 1988. After a period at Harwich as a reserve vessel, it was sold to become a restaurant.
