H074 minff/pthmdg fr

On searching brfares.com, I can only seem to find tickets to H074 MINFF/PTHMDG FR from stations west of Flint. Most are routed "BLAENAU FFEST FR". However from Holyhead, Valley, Ty Croes and Rhosneigr the routeing is "ANY PERMITTED". Does this imply that these tickets are valid via Shrewsbury or is it just a mistake?

I'd suggest you buy the All zones North Wales Rover, as it is valid from Shrewsbury/Chester westwards, and offers a 50% reduction on fares on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland. I'd also suggest looking at Dave Sallery's excellent site which gives itineraries that can be used.

Thanks. I'm actually planning on using a Ffestiniog Round Robin ticket but found the through H074 MINFF/PTHMDG FR and H075 BLAENAU FFEST FR tickets by chance when looking up the fares. I was just interested in why there were different routes on the tickets to H074 from different parts of North Wales.

I'm hoping to buy the Round Robin ticket from either Hall Road / Blundellsands / Waterloo stations on the Merseyrail northern line. Even though they're not on the ticket's validity map, it seems that fares should be available. Will the Merseyrail ticket office be able to issue the ticket?
