I had a few pleasant hours strolling around Toddington station while a mate had a ride behind a class 47. Preparations for the coming GWR 175 gala are coming along strong. GW Gas turbine, Iron duke and a new water tower in the station.
Also seen were a couple of class 8 shunters a couple of 37s one belonging to WCR.

Agreed aout the great shots :D

Howeever I'm afraid that 37248 doesn't belong to WCRC anymore, the Growler Group owns it so at the moment (and presumably fairly permanently) its based on the GWSR, but is still in West Coast livery!

Didn't realise that new water tower was being built! Nice to see that it is though, as prior to the G&W chaps moving in that's roughly where the original tower stood right into BR days.
