GWR Train Manager

Hi,

I'm currently in the process of applying for the role of Train Manager with GWR. Is anyone able to tell me how long the training is, and how long it takes before you go onto full pay?

Also what is the shift pattern like?

Really depends on which depot your going to, regards passing out as you'll need to route learn first and sign off your first route.

Training is circa 4 months at training school, the route learning probably another three months.

Shifts again depend on depot, but the first service to last Bristol for example I think the first turn starts at 0400ish and last finish is circa 0200.
