New to the forum, applied for the Paddington TM vacancy, passed the Guards Assessment nearly 3 weeks ago. Nothing heard since then, is this usual? Starting to assume I've been unsuccessful, but it would be good to know one way or the other.

Have you tried speaking to recruitment? I find this isn’t unusual for the railway. After giving them a call you’ll probably receive an email to update you very soon

All I would say is that GWR are very busy at the moment with train driver recruitment, so the other areas could be taking a hit.

That’s good you should be fine with that part . Any chance you could give us some tips about the assessment part 2 as I have mine soon... Jus don’t know what to expect .

Sorry, been on holiday, they phoned me on the Monday after a Friday assessment.

I did assessment 2/interview last Monday, got contacted and offered the job on Tuesday morning, also got contacted to book the medical on Tuesday.
Was contacted by phone, however, I received an email from the pre employment screening company that GWR use before I’d actually heard from GWR!
