I found mine were mostly a variation of the MMI questions with a few extra like what do you know about the TOC ,routes, stock etc

How did you prepare for this interview
You're on your way to work and you're first on scene at a serious accident... What would you do.
Why do you want to be a train driver
How you feel about rules and procedures

And quite a few that are very similar or identical to questions from a MMI

It's been so long since the talent pool was first advertised I've forgotten what the pay during training is. Can anyone enlighten me please?

Congrats on the course/start dates. So that's 4/5 months waiting?

I'm expecting a long wait (if ever it actually happens) due to being in the pool for a small depot (Fratton)

After a horrible 5 week wait since my DMI, I've just been told I'm now in the talent pool for Bristol TM.

Now to get comfortable for the long wait until a course date!

Thanks for all the help everyone that's contributed.

When did you get placed by in the pool? I thought the same, but was told within a couple of months.

Found out last Thursday I was in. One of the guards I know at Fratton said there's two guys retiring this year but not much chance of any other vacancies anytime soon. Plus theyve interviewed for qualified drivers so that makes me wonder if it's a long way off

Wow! It seems I've gone from being pessimistic yesterday, to waving my silly today. Medical booked. Feb course all being well.

Haha, funny how it works out. Strange how the turnaround was so quick since the course isn’t till Feb. I assume the courses are all allocated up until then so they can just send out the conditional offers etc.
