This relates to tomorrow (9 March) so not a Tops request because I guess no one knows what units will be allocated!

However, can anyone tell me if 09:22 1L14 is usually 9 car or 2 x 5 car?

In either case, any clues where coach K is likely to be (want to be close to the buffers - disabled)

https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:L87264/2022-03-08/detailed#allox_id=0 shows that it was 2x5-car today and the location of coach K (fourth coach from one end, the rear of the formation I think).

EDIT Further searches will show that 1L14 was 2x5-car for the past week.

Note: South Western Railway & Great Western Railway: Rolling stock has a default orientation applied where possible, so train services may not be the correct way around on arrival at stations. Coach facilities are applied where it is unambiguous. (https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/about/knowyourtrain/)

PS Having posted this note, I can't actually understand it. For my trains, the front of the train is on the left-hand end in the diagram on RealTime Trains. My best guess is that this is saying that for GWR this isn't necessarily the case, but others may have better interpretations!

It was also 2 x 5 for the 2 weeks before that. After messing with the url on RTT it seems it was only 9 car once on the 15th and 5 car twice on 18/02/22 and 21/02/22.
