Looking to travel Cardiff to Paddington and back Sunday 15th February.

Only flexible tickets available which makes me think the advertised timetable is very much to be confirmed?

Am j right to hold off buying?

I am seeing advances available on most trains London to Cardiff on that date. If you're going for the day it seems the super off peak return is cheaper than the cheapest advances available, so most booking sites will show that. The Super Off Peak return is £103.30, while the cheapest advances I can see seem to be £59.

You will likely be able to find better value using a site such as the forum ticketing site to split, without losing much flexibility.

The trains will be pretty busy that day due to Wales playing France in the Six Nations.

Thanks. That explains it.

And I'd forgotten it was an egg chasing day, at least we'd be going against the flow so to speak. Until we get back to Cardiff of course.
