I am trying to buy a GWR Smartcard.
The instructions on the website say:

You’ll need to set up an account on GWR.com. When you’ve done this, you can apply for a smartcard in the Manage My Smartcards in the My account section. Just fill in the details and you should get your touch smartcard within 5 working days.

I have had a GWR account for several years. When I log on I do get the 'My account' section, but once there, the 'Manage My Smartcards' section doesn't exist. I've tried following all the links but none of them lead to the page to order a card. Anyone else had this problem, has anyone managed to navigate to the required page?

I couldn't find it either under myaccount.gwr.com, but on the FAQs page for "How do I get a new touch smartcard?", under the text you quoted, there is a link "Apply for a smartcard" to
https://tickets.gwr.com/gw/en/account/Managemysmartcards
where (after logging in) you can click "Please select an option" -> "Apply for a smartcard" which takes you to
https://tickets.gwr.com/gw/en/account/ApplyForANewSmartcard
which seems to be a form to order a smartcard.

Maybe tickets.gwr.com is an old version of myaccount.gwr.com and they forgot to carry over all the functionality?

Most GWR stations can issue them too, they have special printers for them
