So, I never book a berth on the Paddington to Penzance sleeper as I travel too often for it to be viable. Typically it's my 50th next week and I managed to get an Advance sleeper solo package for my return to Cornwall.
However I got unexpectedly admitted to hospital at the weekend, won't be able to travel alone, so are the berths capable of being converted (obviously for additional cost).
I know I'll get a more accurate answer from here rather than their Twitter feed!
Thanks as always
Steve

Probably best asking GWR for a definitive answer. Having read through the Riviera sleeper section of the iKB, I would do the normal change of advance procedure charging £10 for change plus the difference between fare paid and the available twin fare. However I don't know if GWR would agree.

You could also ask for an additional solo cabin for your companion with an interconnecting door
