GWR Sleeper berth refunds

GWR have changed refund arrangements for sleeper berths, above 14 days ahead it's 100% ( £10 Admin charge) 7-13 days is 75% (minus £10 admin) Less than 7 days is no refund at all, seems harsh as they can resell if cancelled. The previous arrangements allowed some refund up to 1600 on date of travel & hadn't changed since BR days !

That seems more in keeping with the Cornish sleeper's principal market of discretionary travel. I don't expect they resell many berths in the last few hours before departure, it is a very popular service.

Agree it's mainly discretionary market, however every time I'm on it there always seems to be people at the lounge car trying to get a berth.
