I'm going to be travelling down to Cornwall from London on 24 December and returning on the 27th. Planning my journey, I'm not sure what to make of the fact that timetables for those days show the Pullman as being available on the 1303 from London and the 1816 from Plymouth respectively – the latter of which terminates at Euston of course!
The 27th I find extremely unlikely which presumably means it's a timetabling error, which does in turn cast doubt on availability for other days too. But could the 24th be true? Pullman table booking isn't available for any date beyond 20 December, so that's not conclusive. The GWR Pullman webpage says it doesn't operate at busy times like the ‘festive period’ without defining exactly when that is. I rang GWR this evening and the lady I spoke to tried to get a definitive answer for me, checking every info source she could think of, but she ended up just as confused as I am.
Does anyone know for certain the dates Pullman is (or perhaps more accurately, isn't) operating over Christmas? Thanks!
