Yes they have kept the end doors
I think it might be too long. Usually a 4-car voyager just about fits. They might just send it straight through. Wouldn't be surprised if they do
Given that Platform 2 is a bay platform, I still think it'll go in any platform that isn't 2.It is booked to stand at Exeter for engineering work to be competed so is unlikely to go straight through without stopping .
I didn't think the end doors would be removed in all honesty; traincrew use the doors at the back of the 43s to access the passenger area.Good, thanks for the info.

On Chiltern's loco-hauled services, that never happened and probably never will - 67s and 68s aren't fitted with corridor connections at one end!
Ohhhh. My bad.I think he meant the doors between the vestibule and saloon which have been removed on the Chiltern coaches in favour of doors on the corridor connection itself.
Checking OTT Maps, it seems to have been held at BA 3651, 2 signals short of Abbotswood Junction, all night. Revenue-earning XC services are still running though, so perhaps it's just been looped. No update since 2307. Did it make It to Plymouth?
Seen videos of it at Bristol Temple Meads.Checking OTT Maps, it seems to have been held at BA 3651, 2 signals short of Abbotswood Junction, all night. Revenue-earning XC services are still running though, so perhaps it's just been looped.
Any idea if 47 is returning 2day. Is 47813 the ROG blue one?
does anyone have any pictures or videos of the set being moved or a link to them ?
Thxs I go out and see it.5Z59 1528 Laira T.& R.S.M.D. to Leicester L.I.P.

The data feed from NR for maps was broken from about 23:10 to 00:10 last night. Anything that moved in that time will tend to carry on just hanging around on the map until another train goes through that signal. I'm surprised it hung around as long as 7:30 given that it was at a normal signal on the mainline, but I haven't actually looked at the timetable...Checking OTT Maps, it seems to have been held at BA 3651, 2 signals short of Abbotswood Junction, all night. Is the return light engine or next lot of coaches
I wonder when they will next be needed?Carrying the Barrier wagons back only
I wonder when they will next be needed?
It’s not finished internally lolCorrect me if i'm wrong... but I was under the impression that no more sets would move to Doncaster until the first set has been rigorously tested and accepted for passenger use
... and have the work finished. It’s not finished internally lol
You must have been asleep for the past decade then!!! The end doors (except on the end TF next to the power car) were removed on all Great Western sets during the last refurbishment.I didn't think the end doors would be removed in all honesty; traincrew use the doors at the back of the 43s to access the passenger area.

Well, I only got properly stuck into the hobby back in May 2014, so I'm not really surprised at my folly. You must have been asleep for the past decade then!!! The end doors (except on the end TF next to the power car) were removed on all Great Western sets during the last refurbishment.
Still no pics?
