Interesting with the work happening on the SWML they have an easement for the early 0507 Cardiff train (super off peak) to allow people to get 0556. However, they do not have an easement for the 1848 (as the 1918 is no longer running).

I know a few people that get this train - would they be able to board the 1848 given the 1908 was 'cancelled'? Is repay delay due?

Presumably the reasoning is that people who normally catch the 05.07 can’t catch an earlier train (because there isn’t one), whereas people who normally catch the 1908 can catch a later train.

Though I'd avoid the 19:48 on Thursday or Friday because it will be packed. The 19:18 usually has most seats taken.
