Hi, I have a small hand tool, it has GWR stamped into the copper. It is about 8.5 inches long, the copper end is about 1 inch deep. Wooden handle. I have attached some photographs. One photo of the GWR is quite clear but the one on the other side looks as if an error has been done when stamping the GWR on it. Looks like GRR has been stamped and then W over stamped over the first R. Seems strange GWR would make such a mistake. Does anybody recognise what this tool is for, does it have a particular name, is it worth anything?? Any help appreciated. Thank you

The hand stamped letters don’t look very professional and perhaps not as old as the tool. Generally (but not always) the GWR was a single punch. I’ve no idea what it’s used for though.
