It's kind of sad to learn that the HSTs will eventually go out of service.
As a young child between the years of 2010 to 2012 me going to my granny's quite often and here living right next to the GWR mainline and didcot; it remains as one of my four nostalgic memories and I get very sentimental about it sometimes. At the very least they are keeping the Class 220/221 as the cross country trains. And I despise those Class 800s, they had teething troubles not even relating to the locomotive itself, it was the AIR CONDITIONING! I would think somebody would agree with me.
