GWR drivers pay deal? (Paddington)

Hi guys just a quick question which might be silly, last year I applied for a trainee train driver role with gwr paddington end salary was 60k....this year a similar role at paddington has been advertised with final salary of 69k,

I'm assuming applicants from last year salary would also be upgraded to 69 as well even though the job advert said 60k

In the middle of last year the pay claims for 2022, 2023, and 2024 were settled, so the £60k figure was the 2021 rate of pay which had remained unchanged when you applied for the job.

£69k is the new rate for the role, so yes everyone would now go onto that upon qualifying.

GWR driver's pay anniversary is April 2025, but any rise this year has not been agreed yet.
