So far, since passing DMI in June, no dates on medical or training.

All the best!if I can give you one piece of advice at this stage it would be try and forget about it and carry on with your normal life, people sit in pools for weeks or sometimes years before they get the call and there is absolutely no way of predicting who will or won’t get the call first.
Congratulations on getting this far, just check in every few months with recruitment to let them know your still keen and your turn will come eventually, but worth remembering aswell being in a pool is no 100% guarantee of a job offer.
Exeter do seem to be recruiting heavily at the moment though.

Possibly, although I hope that with how much they’re recruiting they must need a lot of drivers so hopefully the training school conveyor belt is in full flow!Duly noted. All the best!

Congrats! We will hopefully be on the same course, I also passed my medical this week for the 16th Feb! Although I only applied in March 25’ I seemed to get quite lucky with my dates along the way. I applied for the role on the 17th of Aug 2024, can’t remember when I did the tests but my DMI was in July 25, so just some random info on timescales.

Yeah I got very lucky. I applied in March, assessment day in June, DMI in July then got my call a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been absolutely stunned with how lucky I’ve been compared to some of the stories on here. Probably see you in Exeter and Swindon for our induction soon!Cheers!
