GWR Delay Repay & Seatfrog

I was recently delayed over one an hour travelling between Paddington & Warminster with a Seatfrog upgrade between Paddington & Westbury whilst I have been offered delay repay for half the cost of the off peak day return the additional payment made for First Class travel has been ignored, am I being unreasonable to expect some compensation for the Seatfrog element?

Seatfrog upgrades are refundable when your service has been impacted by delays. You can claim a refund by applying to your rail operator through their Delay-Repay scheme, you'll need to include a copy of your Seatfrog upgrade receipt as well as your original ticket.

So you need to now appeal to GWR.

I had the same thing with TransPennine (I think they share a system with GWR because I got a payment back from them)

I just appealed and reminded them about the SeatFrog upgrade and they refunded that too.

Did you include the cost of the Seatfrog upgrade when you inputted the price?

Yes cost of Seatfrog and ticket inputted and single PDF sent which included e-ticket and Seatfrog upgrade, using the online link to appeal the decision it would appear that all you can do is enter the same information again. I have raised it separately via a complaint email will see what happens.
