GWR complimentary return ticket question

Hi all
I have a GWR complimentary standard class return ticket. I am thinking of going to Penzance from Paddington. Would I be able to take a train from Paddington to Bristol Parkway, then change as required to get to Penzance?

Yes. But make sure the next train from Bristol Parkway is a GWR one. Quite a lot of the connecting train doen to Penzance are cross country which your pass is not valid for.

Just to add to this there are no GWR services from Bristol Parkway to Penzance. You will need to take a GWR service to Bristol Temple Meads and change there.

Yes, as long as you only use GWR trains. You will need to change at least once more.
