The non preserved ones are going to Sims of Newport almost immediately to make room. Three days being allowed to strip out the reusable stuff, and then off they go.

So it looks like that an ECS move from Exeter to Newport will probably run on the Monday or Tuesday after the 12th Dec then.

Bit of a weird question this, but I have noticed in the past that on eBay the blinds from ex 142s have been for sale so I was just wondering if the 143's blinds will be scrapped or taken out before they go for disposal??

I had in my head that I read somewhere all the Pacers were at one (Bristol?) end on the current formations though can’t seem to find any reference of that now! Does anyone know if that’s right or if I just imagined it please?

158s are likely to be common.

The pair of 158s currently used on a Taunton-Cardiff diagram will be displaced by a Castle set to strengthen the Exeter area services. Possibility of other 15x diagrams being freed up by Castle sets as well.

It is their last day so I would suspect the usual number will be out which I believe is 4 unless there is any 150 shortage and an additional may be out.
