Morning all,

Apologies for the repeated subject but the site for some reason will not accept anything that I search for, for whatever reason!

I'm after the GWR 387 diagrams from some kind soul.
I'm planning to get one on the H&H stopper in March.

Ta!

It's down in their timetable, look for trains that have the electric bolt above it.

Not sure of your question. If you get an H&H stopper it will be electric, all day Mon - Sat, unless there's a sudden catastrophic failure of EMUs or infrastructure.

They are past the introductory stage...

Its the xx:15 and xx:45 from Paddington to Hayes & Harlington

If you're just after haulage, it's an easy leap between the two diagrams at Acton Main Line.

Just two trips a week apart have yielded me eight of the ten units that are already commissioned; I have 387 132 to 387 139 inclusive so I'm only missing the first two... So far. Obviously there will be more available soon!

Ah good to note that 138 & 139 have entered service.

I would say Ealing Broadway would be better than Acton (be at the front of the service from Paddington), at least if the return working got cancelled you are not stuck at Acton Relief Line ;)

1) Bagged them on Monday.

2) You can't make the leap at Broadway - they pass there. But if you position yourself right on the train you can see the screen on the up platform at Acton ML before you get off the down train and see if there's any problem...

RTT suggests a +4 at Broadway with the trains passing at West Ealing [which also seems to suggest the Paddington bound 387s depart as the 165 from Greenford rolls into the bay platform, so much for joint-up thinking!]

Yes, but they're often a minute or two late off Paddington. That turns it into a +2 with very awkwardly designed and very busy set of stairs to negotiate...

True that, made worse as the stairs are quite narrow as inbound passengers decide to use the entire width up.

I wonder how many more passengers are using Acton Main Line now it has 8-coaches every half hour rather than the previous 2-coaches from Greenford (instead of using the Central Line from North Acton or other Acton stations)

I've missed a '+3' at Ealing Broadway before, even though I was one time - a combination of crowds using the stairs/bridge and the train back to Paddington leaving early (which I've seen occur on more than one occasion - the view seems the be 'there will be another soon').

Last I heard 130/131 had gone to Reading for testing of OHLE around there. Fortunately I got them in the book soon after they entered service. I do need 133 upwards though....

Ah... if they're the Reading pair than that means I don't have to spend time looking for them at the moment when I could be gathering other haulages elsewhere... thank you. :)

387130/131 - Reading TCD - Dvr / staff training.
387140 - Reading TCD - acceptance checks.

As a 387 related topic, West Ealing Sidings were used in anger for the first time last night.
