GWR 165/166s

Know they've appeared on the Barnstaple in recent weeks so was just curious which other branches in D&C they could be suitable for or barred from.
Also, are they cleared as far as Brighton or not?

Brighton yes

They’re cleared or are in the process of being cleared for Exmouth and Paignton as well. No plans to use them further west than Plymouth.

Plenty of discussion about this in the thread for 165 / 166 operation - sometimes a search - eg "166 brighton" - can be as effective as asking the question
