But of a odd explanation. Did the Turbo unit fit onto all platforms along route and sidings at Fratton Yard?

AIUI they are already cleared to Fratton station at least, and to Portsmouth Harbour. Last I heard though there were still problems with a particular platform at the Harbour.
The moves today seem to have been about Fratton depot specifically.
The Netley line was done a couple of weeks ago.
Not heard if the route via Botley is cleared yet either.

I think this and a number of the above posts about Turbos are probably in the wrong thread though...

158766 worked to Penzance today, it’s now on 1644 Penzance to Exeter St David’s.

It will be back down later today, currently on a quick jaunt to Cardiff before working back to Paignton then a Newton Abbot shuttle before working the Paignton to Cardiff later on this afternoon.

Saw it pass my train near Bodmin- at least one Par driver has been on a refresher course on the type.

158798 working 2C67 to Paignton from Newport instead of Cardiff due to a shortage of train crew. Seems as if 798 was called out in replacement as 2U02 from Taunton did not run.

Didn't work 2M72 last week and stayed at Exeter for 2U02 next morning

Ah ok thanks for the info. Seems as if one of the terminating Paignton services does it instead but today the local service is a pacer so I suppose 158766 could do it afterall like when 158763 did it on Friday.

Anyone know if a 158 is allocated into Cornwall today? Also which 158 as I saw 763 last week but havent seen 766 yet
