Guildford to Preston, fare confusion

I have found this fare for Guildford to Preston, with a 16-25 railcard:

But am unable to buy it anywhere, and it says that it is not available on any days of the week, so what is it?

It needs to be bought with an Advance ticket in the other direction, and the restriction of the days of the week only apply until September.

That looks like the SVH ticket which is a half-price off-peak single ticket offered by virgin Trains. it is only available when booking through the Virgin Trains website when purchasing another ticket (e.g. an advance single) between the same 2 stations in the other direction as part of the same transaction.

The restriction on the ticket type not being available to sell on any day of the week lasts to the end of validity of the current National Fares Manual, on 6th September. But I'm sure it will be updated again then to reflect its continuing unavailability through normal sales channels! The Virgin website (and a few other booking engines) treat this ticket type specially and override the rule saying it's not available.
