I'm wondering if there are any savings to be made on this return journey?

Planned journey:

Tuesday 28th January 2014
17:04 Guildford -> Banbury via Reading Off Peak Day Single £13.75 YP Railcard
19:25 Banbury -> Shirley via Tyseley Anytime Return £12 YP

Thursday 30th January 2014
06:52 Shirley -> Banbury via Tyseley
08:16 Banbury -> Guilldford via Reading Anytime Day Single £21.10 YP

Total £46.85

I can travel into/from Birmingham Moor Street / New Street / Solihull instead of Shirley and via London too.

I need flexible tickets for the outward journey but could be tied to specific trains on the return journey. I need to be back in Guildford no later than 10:15am.

I also have my Woking -> Guildford season ticket incase of any condition 19c split ticket opportunities.

You can replace the two Guildford - Banbury singles with

Gomshall - Banbury
Route +Any Permitted
Off-Peak Return
£31.30 Y-P Restriction WZ

There is no time restriction on your return leg as you are going nowhere near any train heading for Marylebone or Paddington. Permitted via Reading on map CS.

Outward can be via London if you so wish.

• £28.05 Railcard Super Off-Peak Return Woking - Birmingham Stns route ✠ High Wycombe, valid outward by any train timed to depart London Marylebone Mon-Fri before 0630, from 0900 until 1600, or after 1900, return by any train except those timed to arrive at London Marylebone before 1130 Mon-Fri.
