Just seen the first 8-car 455 come down the line from Effingham Junction to Guildford. It was behind a MPV unit by maybe just one signal block.
I checked out Guildford this morning and the snow cover of the track certainly indicated that no train had come down the line from Effingham Junction since at least Sunday evening.
Platform 1 was completely submerged, and platform 2/3 were being used to break and join trains between Portsmouth and Woking due to the signal failures preventing areas of Woking Junction being used.
**Additional - 1203**
MPV has just headed off to Ash Junction towards Reading
**Additional - 1208**
The same 8-car 455 unit has just headed back towards Effingham Junction now.
