Guildford -> Letchworth Weekend Return

Hi All

I will be travelling tomorrow from Guildford to Letchworth and returning to Woking on Sunday. I have a YP Railcard and a Woking-Guildford Season.

The period return is £19.15, just wondering if anyone knows of anything better for this journey? PMs welcome with anything likely to cause possible challenge.

The cheapest SVR from Woking to anywhere is £24. The Woking-Letchworth SVR is only a little more, at £29 (w/o railcard).

The cheapest SVR from Letchworth valid via London is £27.50.

So there is very little potential for savings, since you'd have to find loopholes on both sides of London and still beat £29.
