No I know that. But it has been better and quieter, and post quality has gone up. So if they come back humbled then they should be kicked out

No I know that. But it has been better and quieter, and post quality has gone up. So if they come back humbled then they should be kicked out
I remember another forum saying more or less those exact words. Many members disliked the Moderation Style so left to a 'new forum' called x, post quality went up on old forum (y) but less discussions over time, 'new forum' expands and post quality ever slightly with it. x went from something like 400 posts a day to about 20 posts a week after years of service, (founded something like 2002/3 ish). Interesting to over time that the members who said 'it's much better now' on forum y ended up on forum x.
Time will tell.
The problem about opinions, is not everyone likes them.
The problem about freedom, is it requires responsibility, else rules have to be applied.
