Sorry for the absence but I do have to eat and socialize from time to time you know! No-one has got it yet and I'm not giving a clue as you're all (apart from HST Power who really went off the reservations there) pretty close.

Yes, just thought that. If it were something like that, it would be more likely to be a 205... (Honestly can't say though...)

Damn. Fooled by the pretty buffers. It would of course have been a 205, they looked more grotty than the 207s...

why can I not make it difficult? GRRRRRRR.

Mvann was on the right track with 150, it is a 150, but it's used by Network rail under the designation 950001, so Track Basher got it spot on.
