You could have streched that our by denying it was a 185. It could have been a 360 or probably any of the other members of the Desiro family. I've seen that device on a 360 and assume that all other Desiros have them!

But that would be lying :P

Its one of the lift up flap things to speak to driver - I wouldn't actually be sure of whether all the other Desiros have them or not and I deliberately cropped out the surroundings so no-one could get it from the seat pattern!

Going back to the previous one, I still reckon it's a loco. That single central headlight suggests an old one with a new light stuck on. Class 87 from a weird angle?

Correct analysis, but it's not an 87.

Bit of a guess that time, something told me it was an EE.

Right, now for one that might fox anybody. No points for the 5p, but a bonus for anyone who can explain why it was embedded in the table.

For the stock I'm thinking Mk4, as for the 5p perhaps they were applying a clear varnish onto the table surface and missed that there was a 5p there?

It's not LHCS at all, and the thing was definitely lacquered in. Something else about the Mk4 should give a clue.

And it isn't a 222 either.

How on earth do you lacquer in a 5p...wonder if someone did it for a laugh!

Class 156?

We have a winner!

156s were made by Metro-Cammell, as were Mk4s

Here's the unit from outside, and it was the same shoot as the 90 earlier:

The door is the same design as on 455s, so it really should be a mid 1980s BREL product. 317/318/455/456/150, maybe 320/321/322 also.

I'm going for 317.

Open floor if right.
