No this is definately in GB.

That is not trying to be cunning either it is photographed at a current National Rail station and this is an active piece of rolling stock at the time it was pained this way while in BR service it is not a preserved thing in a alternative livery.

It looks to be a flat cab end. I don't think any units have been painted in IC. Is it the blunt end of a 91?

The Gatwick ones were in a varient of Intercity.

As it's a loco and obbiously not a gronk for now I am out of ideas. I will kick myself when someone gets it as I think it's obvious.
