150s never were my favourite kind of unit.

Promise me it isn't a 323! I'm sure it isn't, but you never know...

Livery - the cream and the hint of maroon probably gave it away, along with the fact that CUSM works these I think!



Only worked on them as a TE years ago Ralph, they're DOO units nowadays. Fast off the mark too, you really feel them accelerate.

I don't know all the different coupling systems :(

A 171 is a Southern Turbostar. They run to Uckfield and on the Marshlink, and come in 2- and 4-, and possibly 3-, car variants.

Shows what I know about 171s :lol: I've only ever used the 2-car variants to and from Rye, travelling from/to each of Ashford (twice), Eastbourne and Brighton.
