Not a 91. This loco is one of the last all British designs, although not all of them were built here.

It is a 56. At today's KWVR gala.

This isn't a cropped image: I just took a shot of the grille. I'm used to getting strange looks from normals when taking photos of trains, but when you start getting strange looks from cranks, you know that Rail UK quizzes are taking too much of a hold on you!

I immediately though a 67... perhaps not then.

If I'd known what locos were at the gala I would have had that so easily! Not least because you actually told me you were there! :D

I knew it was a loco straight off (not sure why loads of people were guessing DMUs!) but the clue made it obvious which one. Open floor...

These 'Guess the...' threads make concealing one's movements desirable.....

Aye. That's the one weakness I have with all of my new shots; you have a rough idea of where I've been! But it is only rough, and then I am a master cropper, so as I stated by text you needn't wander off and not guess on mine. I was at fault for not making the 450 less obvious with mine!

I'd like to think that this one will be harder. As you can probably tell, this is a luggage rack, and was taken especially for this thread! Mind you, I imagine half of the precisely 500 shots I took whilst away (of which 78 were deleted for various reasons) were taken for this or Guess the Station...!

Very good :D

No it is not. I do not use luggage racks for the most part because I forage through my bags so often!

Let me get this 100% clear in my mind. You have been travelling the length and breadth of the country on a £42 North-to-South ALR (AKA return portion of Bath > Belfast Rail & Sail ticket), taking photos of luggage racks?? Or as normals will see it, taking photos of their luggage???? I felt a bit of a dick taking a photo a class 56 radiator grille at a diesel gala, presumably surrounded by more sympathetic people, but this luggage rack business is not in the same league. How many times were the men in white coats called?

Is it a ScotRail 170? <shudders>

Almost, 4SRKT. It was £32. And it was only the one! My other 499 shots were of myriad other things, such as Sheffield trams, tricycles (Maybole) and the odd bridge. And I wanted a shot of Her Majesty, but did not know her itinerary so did not pursue her (as you knew already).

It was a 220. I would of course have accepted either, or indeed "Voyager" or "Vomiter".
