Being the Voice of Doom's stand-in (while she's on maternity leave) I think I shall have to point out that this thread is unlikely to be as successful as GTS in the foreseeable future as:
There are fewer classes of train than there are stations
The picture have to be tiny to stop them from being obvious, discouraging people from guessing (and looking at GTS you can see that many people don't bother guessing there!)
It is easier to get an exciting angle of a station than of a train.
I have no idea. I'm guessing it's a roof though. Let's try an HST (sorry guys!), open floor if by some miracle it is correct. Starting tomorrow, I shan't be saying open floor though!
Don't read too much into my humour Ivo! Maternity leave was just the easiest way of describing it. If you were to look more closely it would probably be a hybrid maternity/paternity leave type affair. Best just to drop it!
