Do we perhaps need a clue...?
I shall give one anyway:
This train is an EMU.![]()
Not the (Rod) Hull Express then...
717?

No again, sorry. Not the (Rod) Hull Express then...
717?

No again, sorry.
Only one train operator uses this type of train.
I'm afraid not.707 Desiro City?
Giving up if it's not that.

Speno rail grinding unit?
Erm what ? This is an Australian (New South Wales) Class 82...
My bad... Trax is right, I typed in Class 82 DVT and didn't check the photo through (was in a race against time to post, as I didn't want to mess the thread up with somebody posting a photo before I had posted mine - two photos at the same time would have caused issues but looks like an issue has been caused anyway).
I'll withdraw before any ire comes my way.
What is the situation here?
The situation is that I thought I had copied a UK Class 82 when I had in fact copied an Australian 82 - I blame a brainfart moment on my part, happy to have an open floor.
I rushed to post, thinking that the 'you must wait X seconds to post' message would come up and that somebody else would post a photo before I did thereby causing confusion.
No problem - for future reference please note that Mark 3 DVTs are not class 82s despite having a number such as 82XXX on the side!
