It's actually a pair of 170s, on an Inverness - Glasgow Queen Street service just over a week ago. The angle of sun does make the trailing set look like a different type.

It is a 444. It's at Fratton in platform 3 and the stop board is in the adjacent siding/reception line. I think it's been removed from the track now.
