I believe the part about it being in active service, precludes trains/locos that aren’t in revenue service. As the 730s are just being tested, vs. a 331 or a 90 that both earn money for their respective companies, that’s what doesn’t allow them to be used.

The idea of this game is to guess the train class based upon the picture posted by a user...

The Rules
  • You may only post photos of UK train classes which are in active service on the National Rail network.
  • You may post a photo of any part of the train.
  • The use of image manipulation or editing so to further obsure the identity of a train is forbidden.
  • Copyright rules obviously apply and if the photo is not yours and you have found it on the web then please attribute the author.

As per usual, if you post a photo please do check back regularly to say yes and no to guesses - if you win the floor, please post a new photo within twenty four hours of your guess being confirmed as correct - failure to do such will cause the floor to be open for other posters.

The floor is open for the first player to set the scene for us...
