I don't recognise it at all. It looks a littble bit like Middlesbrough, but the colour scheme is all wrong. It looks a little FCC/Thameslink-ish. Blackfriars?

In that case, appologies also for my present stupidity. If its not WAGN, it is almost certainly LTS, so I will go for Southend Central.

Good job Ivo wasn't on! Open floor.

I'm only now catching up on this thread after my two-day exile from the Quiz Forum <(

As soon as I saw Mr Taylor's picture I thought the following: "No. No! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" [massively OTT]

Paul: Cardiff Queen Street?

Sod's law that you get a load of pics that you would have got if you check back after a few days away. Sometimes it's just better to go to the last page and save the heartache :)

You're marginally closer with your answer. Needless to say, we aren't in Cardiff.

Island platforms in that part of the world are a bit of a niche concept.

Took me ages to work it out, but Pontypool + New Inn.

I think it is a South Eastern station (but I could be wrong!) and say...

Elmstead Woods

It would appear to have been taken from a fast train on the up fast line.
The clue for me was it was a South Eastern Railway (or SE&CR) style footbridge and there only few stations where it has an original footbridge within the station canopy.

...open floor....
