I believe the destination screen reads 'South Shields'. It is therefore between St. James and Siuth Shields via the Coast. It isn't on the stretch parrallel with BR. Wallsend?

Seen as the floor is open, have a looksy at this. This station has been unintentionally blurred - to the point that we are seeing double!

Sometimes the worst pictures can be the best posers :p

Paignton was correct. My post referred to the fact that Temple Meads was stood literally metres from me when I took that picture last Sunday.
