A stupid guess feels in order. Elmers End?

I wanted rule out Elmers End because in its prime it had four platforms reduced to three around 1970 .

I am trying to think of a station with wooden buildings but had a Southern Railway (1930s) style canopy....

I don't think there are many options for this.

It looks as though the railway runs East - West as the picture is taken near sunrise / sunset into the sun. Fairly good bet it is South of London. Also look as though it has a level crossing at the end of the platform or the photo is taken off the track. Not many East - West lines south of London.

It could only be Whitechapel. The track is new, meaning it has to be on the ELL. There is a tunnel, making it the older ELL. There is a railway bridge passing over, which must carry the District and Hammersmith & City.

I'll pass for now. We still have Sleeper's from before, although if anyone else does want to add another I'm happy for someone to take "my" floor!
