There's been 'league tables' for ages, it's just OxtedL hasn't updates them for ages. Also, I don't like the presumption from that that this is somehow all about doing well in the tables, that's not the point surely?

"League tables" first started appearing at around the 8000 post mark, long time ago now. They are essentially meaningless of course . People have always been slightly reluctant to post as it did strange things to your perception of reality. A couple of things make people less happy to guess now, including there now being no point in "post count chasing" - some of us probably still have the emotional scars from that day - and that the pictures have now got substantially harder (you can only post so many pictures of Preston)...
